Meet the violinist Sara Caswell and her Quartet: a tight-knit creative collaborative consisting of some of New York City’s most in-demand jazz musicians. Collectively, these folk are seasoned from sharing the road, the recording studio, the clubs and the concert stage with such luminaries as esperanza spalding, Bobby McFerrin, Maria Schneider and Ellis Marsalis. 
The Way to You demonstrates how dramatically Caswell’s artistry has evolved and developed since her excellent previous solo albums. Both First Song (Double-Time Records, 2000) and But Beautiful (Arbors Records, 2005) were recorded prior to Caswell’s move to the Big Apple and before her formation of this classic quartet lineup. In many ways, The Way to You represents this band’s debut record, seventeen years in the making.
