Alton Tsosie Bio
Greetings. My name is Alton Tsosie and I am part of the Diné (Navajo) Tribe. I was raised speaking the Diné language and practicing Diné culture. My mother’s clan is Yucca Fruit-Strung-Out-In-A-Line clan and my father’s clan is The Towering House. My maternal grandfather’s clan is Salt People clan and my paternal grandfather’s clan is Red House clan. I was raised in Winslow, Arizona also in Grand Falls, Arizona by my maternal grandparents and my paternal grandmother. I was introduced to the NAC or Peyotism at a young age. I would like to show my appreciation for this tradition through these special songs I am sharing here. I thank you all and I hope these songs enlighten you and your family.

Lincoln Josley Bio
Yá’át’ééh family and friends from all directions. My name is Lincoln Josley. My clan is Deeshchii’nii (Start of the Red Streak People), born for Todich’ii’nii (Bitterwater People). I come from an area called Béésh hagééd (Coppermine, Arizona) located in the western part of the Navajo Nation. I am honored to be a part of this album by supporting my brother Alton and by using my two sonny boys’ water drum. It’s with good thoughts, that Alton and I promote these songs for our many relatives that follow the Peyote way of life. It’s our wish that the songs can be utilized in a good way, to uplift the mind and spirit for yourself and loved ones within this challenging year. Continue to be safe in your everyday walk of life and always have faith, hope, love, and charity, my relatives. Thanks for listening and enjoy….Ahoka!
