Yesterday’s Dreams Echo into Tomorrow – Songs of the Native American Church
Available on CD/Digitally
“This album was recorded during the first weekend of September 2020 as we moved into the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Within a state of uncertainty, death, confusion, and fear, I felt a desire an optimistic feeling to express and shed some light within humanity’s darkest hours. The COVID-19 pandemic virus compelled society to unite through this despair. Sadly, some never saw the new year in 2021, but we will always remember and never forget. Let us continue in the most ancient form of art, a tradition that has lasted through time and space. This tradition is rich in the magical emotion of music, dance and movement that is so truly special that even the gods can appreciate it. Thank you to Branson Gorman, Stephen Butler, Russ Marsden and Kristen Butler. Lastly, to my fans throughout the world, I express my deepest gratitude!” Thank you! Aho!! -Louie Gonnie, 2021
