The American Smooth Jazz Awards took place on October 29th at the DuSable Museum in Chicago. The awards, presented to a sold out crowd by Scott & Company Music Group, were hosted by guitarist Nick Colionne and Chicago radio personality Rick O’Dell. Congratulations to nominees: Rick Braun (Brass/Woodwind), Steve Golub (Guitarist), Gregg Karukas (Keyboardist), Down to the Bone (International Group) and Four80East (International Group).

Marc Antoine – International Artist of the Year
Peter White – Album of the Year (Good Day), Song of the Year (Bright) & Guitarist of the Year
Richard Elliot – Brass & Woodwind of the Year. Richard was also nominated for Entertainer of the Year and Album of the Year (Rock Steady).
